Sino-American Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Professional Association
Sino-American Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Professional Association (SABPA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in early 2002 by professionals and scholars from the Chinese community in San Diego. In 2005, the organization expanded to Orange County and Los Angeles. SABPA has more than 3500 members who are scholars, professionals and entrepreneurs in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry in Southern California.
SABPA is a grassroots organization managed and operated by volunteers throughout the entire organizational construct. In this volunteer-based organization, team cohesion and collaboration play vital roles that have enabled SABPA to grow, excel and succeed with its unique identity. With this identity SABPA has created a strong foundation and established a common ground to fulfill its missions and is continuously building up the collective power and synergy among its members and collaborators.
